Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data sinthai.ai processes, why, and how long it is kept. It is deliberately specific: it describes what this website actually does, not what a template assumes it might.
Who is responsible
SinthAI Inc., Fremont, California, USA is the controller of the personal data described here. For any question about this policy, or to exercise any right described below, write to hello@sinthai.ai.
No cookies, no analytics, no trackers
This site sets no cookies. It loads no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixels, no embedded widgets, and no third-party fonts. Every script, font and image is served from sinthai.ai itself.
Because nothing is stored on your device and nothing is shared with a third-party tracker, no cookie consent banner is required, and there is no cross-site profile of you to opt out of.
What is collected
Server logs. Our web server records the IP address, browser user-agent string, requested URL, response status and timestamp of each request. This is ordinary technical logging.
- Purpose: keeping the service available, and detecting and investigating abuse.
- Lawful basis: legitimate interest in the security and integrity of the service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Retention: log files rotate automatically and are not archived. See “Retention” below.
Email you send us. If you write to hello@sinthai.ai, we hold your message and address for as long as needed to handle the correspondence and keep a record of it.
There are no forms on this site and no accounts. We ask for nothing else, and nothing on the site collects anything else.
Who processes it on our behalf
- Hetzner Online GmbH — hosting, in Helsinki, Finland. Server logs are generated and stored here.
- Microsoft 365 — email for the sinthai.ai domain. Correspondence you send us is processed here under Microsoft’s own retention.
- Sanity — the content management system this site’s text is authored in. Page content is fetched by our server, not by your browser, so Sanity does not receive your IP address when you read the site.
Our servers are in the European Union, so ordinary browsing by an EU visitor involves no transfer of personal data outside the EU. Email handled through Microsoft 365 may be processed in the United States under Microsoft’s own transfer safeguards.
Retention
Server logs are held in rotating files that are overwritten as new entries arrive, and are not backed up or archived. Email correspondence is kept for as long as the matter it concerns is live, and then for our own record.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, write to hello@sinthai.ai. We will respond within the period the applicable law requires.
If you are in the EEA or the UK and you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. We have never done so. There is accordingly no “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism to offer, because there is no such activity to opt out of.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. The history of every revision is kept in our source repository.
